Welcome to the National Panhellenic Conference at Sam Houston State University, where women are empowered to grow, lead, and thrive. Our community is built on the values of Leadership, Scholarship, Sisterhood, and Service, providing members with opportunities to make meaningful connections and create lasting memories throughout their college experience. Through involvement across campus and within our chapters, Panhellenic women develop the skills, confidence, and support system needed to succeed both during college and beyond.
Leadership
Leadership within our Panhellenic community extends far beyond individual chapter walls. We empower our members to become confident public speakers, effective organizers, and impactful community builders. This commitment shows across campus, with over 88% of our Panhellenic women actively holding leadership roles and driving change in outside student organizations.
Scholarship
Academic excellence is our top priority, and our community consistently maintains a collective GPA that exceeds the overall SHSU campus average. Through dedicated study hours, peer tutoring networks, and academic mentorship programs, we provide a built-in support system that champions educational success and fully prepares our members for future careers.
Sisterhood
Sisterhood provides a welcoming, diverse, and inclusive "home away from home" for every woman who joins our community. We build our foundation on genuine care, uplifting encouragement, and celebrating each other’s successes. The profound friendships formed here create a permanent network of mutual support that lasts long after graduation.
Service
We bring the SHSU motto to life through dedicated hands-on community outreach and impactful fundraising. Our members champion both individual chapter philanthropies and unified national initiatives, giving thousands of service hours annually. Through this collective effort, we strive to transform our local communities and raise critical awareness for vital causes.
